This house is a private residence located in Ghasrdasht, Shiraz, in which the design approach is to build a simple, modern, and unique looking house. This design also seeks to answer the clients’ wishes regarding security and privacy, which became the main requirements.

It interpreted into a seemingly enclosed facade design yet not entirely massive, seen with several openings from the front. Most of their spaces opening are on the side of the building. In response to the situation which is directly adjacent to the residential area, the house designed with an inward orientation, so that interruption from the street or neighbor will not decrease the residents’ enjoyment of their home.

The project, located in Kish and will provide citizens and visitors with a unique and culturally immersive experience. The design, based on material, shape, and layout, generates a particular visual result. Merging traditional and contemporary building materials and techniques, the façade produces a dramatic effect.

In the process of designing this complex, considering brief working period and impossibility of transporting materials to the project site, every unit is designed as a prefabricated container. Utilizing finest materials and equipment has given us the opportunity to bring warmth and calmness to the project.

The starting point was to show the diversity and to give all rooms their own identity. Together they form a collection of minimal characters in the house of enlightenment. The building has been completely renovated in collaboration with a large team of specialists and advisers. This project transforms a traditional house into an open, modern dwelling for a family. Glass is used to extend these interior spaces to the exterior and make them feel generous and calm.

The Client expected a light-filled environment and an integrated space on the ground floor. Interacting with the designer, the client agreed to apply details different from those of his current experience. The initial design intention was to provide a light-filled space with natural ventilation, this goal achieved by creating a transparent form and, placing openings on both the north and the south sides, as well as incorporating a linear terrace.

NAMADIN COMPLEX

The concept of this building located in Shiraz, is based on the idea to create an architecturally strong sculpture. Stone walls and volumes repeating the pavement material in the building fold up and define the buildings inner and outside spaces.

According to the concept of an architectural sculpture, the entire building will have the same facades throughout.

To create a diverse spatial experience for the inside there has been integrated an exit system of voids in order to experience the diverse program and the building itself. The voids guarantee a bold conception and prestige.

The whole is a complex horizontal, vertical, and diagonal spatial experience with surprising views through different voids and spaces.

BOOKSTORE

Nowadays, the city of Shiraz is hosting a very interesting inner-city migration pattern, converting an old house to a bookstore, gallery or Boutique hotel.

In addition to the interaction between the structure and the new function, there is an added layer to the building.

The architecture of Bookland was based on its function, so the multi-purpose bookstore has a meaningful connection with harmony and building appearance. The entrance’s yard has a great display to have harmony with the Place.

Corners, joints, mechanical-electrical elements, additional elements, etc. have been omitted or decreased in order to make a simple board for items presentation. For example In the book section forms and geometry have been chosen in a way to make the least interference in visual order, like there is less line.

From the moment you enter the building, the viewers come across numerous views; from the staircase to the main entrance with a low ceiling, and to the public spaces of the project which progressively get in view, they experience manifold contractions and expansions of spaces.

However, the final result is still behind our office ideals but in compare with the projects supposed to built before, we got to realize even non-ideal works can be satisfying.

In the current social/political atmosphere of a city like Shiraz, the contrast and even conflicts between people’s private and public lifestyles lead to unresolvable challenging issues.

What is happening inside the buildings is in sharp contrast with public life. People’s freedom in gatherings, parties and also in their private and semi-private places isn’t comparable with public life which is far more limited and even forbidden in some aspects.

The building is revitalized with minor interventions and a minimal approach. The facades are cleaned up from additions and the porch is completed. The building itself should be designed in a way to harmonize with the location.

From the exterior to the interior, the main color of the house is white and brown wood brings warmth and sophistication. The design uses elements of solid wood surfaces and glass to create a comfortable feeling. Solid wood surfaces is used not only to create privacy and safety for the villa, but also create an interesting experience of light and shadow for the house when the sun shines on every hour of the day.

The clients of this project wanted a villa near Shiraz for their holidays. We tried to borrow the concept base on their characteristics.

What we want to present in this project are simplification, purity, legibility.

Objects or interior elements beside subjects or activities set in a simple, legible way.

Then some small shifts are trying to make this geometrical order as dynamic as its residents.

Large windows and terrace’s septum are going to complete the veil around the building.

In order to simplify accomplishment and speed up the construction process , we have omitted finishing phase in both indoor and outdoor scale, and have chosen some basic materials in order to minimize construction labour.in this method eliminating coats and thin edges caused a monolithic surface which is resister in long term injuries.

The Project is designed to allow a traditional distribution in spaces of greater or lesser size: office, meeting room, work rooms and distribution hall.in contrast, an alternative work environment is proposed where fluidity, flexibility and adaptability generate a dynamic and open space for the multiplicity of activities and the simultaneity of visuals.
